Lil Durk broke the Internet with his latest song “B.O.N.,” so it’s only right he film a music video for it.
Durk tapped Rio productions to handle the visual aesthetics.
“Finna shoot my BON feed the streets,” the OTF frontman announced on Twitter.
“#BON #RIOproduction,” he added on IG when posting a photo of Rio working his equipment.
Lil Durk proclaimed King Louie’s already popular record “BON” as his own. Durk’s cocky statement came just a few days after he exploded the net with his very own remix to the track.
“Ima big ol n-gga
“Lil durk BON
“I be f-cking the internet up!!!!!!!!! #BON
“This Is Not A Remix This My Song!! #B.O.N.,” he wrote.
Durk’s song was a trending topic on Twitter.
Some fans questioned whether Durk took a shot at 300 affiliate Capo with a particular line uttered. Durk raps, “I f-ck with the Migos, but I am not Capo.”
Capo and Migos have been embroiled in a beef since their confrontation inside a Chicago restaurant.
Capo would later take credit for the snatching of Quavo’s chain in D.C.
Durk perhaps knew the line would spark a firestorm. In the opening seconds of the record, he stated his track wasn’t a diss.
Capo also stated Durk’s line wasn’t a shot at him.
“@lildurk_ BON Was not a diss to me!!!!!
“Fans say anything!!!!” he wrote on Twitter.
Durk replied to Capo, writing, “at all.”
The term “B.O.N.” was coined by Chicago rap legend Bump J who is currently incarcerated on a 10-year prison sentence. Bump expects to be released from prison in February 2015.
