RondoNumbaNine’s whole world turned upside down after he was arrested and charged with first-degree murder for the Feb. 22 shooting death of 28-year-old dispatch driver Javan Boyd.
Rondo, 17, and an unnamed accomplice allegedly fired their handguns into Boyd’s vehicle as he was waiting for a passenger, according to the Chicago Sun-Times. Boyd was reportedly shot seven times in all, including, twice in the back and three times in the leg.
Lil Durk is standing behind his OTF brother through his legal problems.

“We a different breed of young n*ggas that’s why everybody f*ck with us #OTF,” the captions on Durk’s IG posts read.
Durk later called for Rondo’s freedom on Twitter.
“Free my lilbro @RondoNumbaNine F*ck these Otha n*ggas
“F*ck 12 and opps we gone make em free rondo,” he wrote.
Rondo is being held on $2 million bail.
The shooting was reportedly in retaliation for a fight that occurred earlier that day. A portion of the crime was caught on surveillance camera, according to the Sun-Times.
Rondo’s fingerprints were additionally found on the cab, according to the Tribune.
Boyd left behind a fiancé and an 11-year-old daughter.
