Meek Mill Mocks Cassidy’s Near-Fatal Car Accident In ‘Kendrick You Next’ Diss Song

Meek Mill turned his feud with former friend-turned-foe Cassidy up a notch after the release of his “Kendrick You Next” diss track.

The track is Meek’s latest response months after his fellow Philly counterpart released the “R.A.I.D” track.

Mill unloaded verbal ammo onto Cassidy in four separate verses using legendary Hip Hop instrumentals, including Tupac’s “Hit Em Up;” Notorious B.I.G.’s “Who shot Ya;” and Nas’ “Ether.”

Meek went no holds barred on Cassidy, even mocking a near-fatal car accident the “I’ma Hustla” rapper was involved in.

“This verse gon’ hit this nigga harder than that car crash/That you should’ve died in, I’m mad that you survived it/But I came to murder you and have you scuba diving/Swimming with fishes, all you niggas is bitches,” Meek raps.

Cassidy, 31, was hospitalized following a New Jersey car accident in 2006 suffering a fractured skull. The accident left him with a scar by his left eye that goes all the way around to the back of his head. There’s also a small dent in his head.

“When I first got out of the accident, I was suffering from amnesia, I couldn’t remember any of my raps,” the rapper, born Barry Reese, said in a “This Is 50” interview. “I couldn’t remember none of the songs I was performing. I couldn’t remember none of the music that I wrote. I had a hard time dealing with that and getting my memory back.”

Cassidy not only had to physically recover, but also mentally recover.

“I had to physically recover, so it took a little bit of time for me to recover from that physically,” he said. “But after I fully recovered physically, it took me a little bit of time mentally to recover because everybody stop believing in me. Everybody stop feeling the same about me. I had to get my swag back, get my grind back on and start doing me. It affected me momentarily, but I don’t think affected me in the long run. I think it made me stronger and helped me out in the long run.”
