Capo’s sudden passing has shocked many around the Hip Hop community. Even more shocking was footage that circulated around social media showing the Glo Gang rapper taking his last breaths. Capo was fatally shot Saturday afternoon in the 7700 block of South Kingston Avenue in the South Shore neighborhood, according to the Chicago Tribune.
Meek Mill was among a slew of entertainers to pay their respects.
“RIP youngbull #capo,” The DWMTM rapper wrote on social media.
Meek shared a video of Cap rapping his song “Miss My Dawgs.”
A 10-month-old baby was also killed in Saturday’s senseless violence. The infant died from injuries sustained in a hit-and-run accident following Capo’s fatal shooting Saturday afternoon.
The boy’s mother was waiting by a bus stop with him in his stroller when suspects in a drive-by struck them, according to ABC 7 Chicago. Witnesses reportedly said the car continued driving through an empty lot before stopping near an alley. The suspects exited the vehicle and attempted to flee the scene. Police reportedly arrested two men from the vehicle.
The boy was taken to Comer Children’s Hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to NBC Chicago.
