Meek Mill is currently mourning the loss of his cousin Angelo Colon who was killed in his hometown of Philadelphia.
Colon, 21, was shot in the head outside a takeout restaurant during a drive-by shooting in South Philly, according to NBC 10 Philadelphia. Another victim was transferred to a local hospital in critical condition with multiple gunshot wounds to his legs.
Meek took to IG to honor Lo:
“Damn Lo! Watching my family die to these philly streets! Probation is the only thing that got me tied to come coming back here so frequent!! My mission is to save my family from these streets and change the mindframe of all my lil cousins growing up in it!!!! #RIPLO hurt me to see you in this same spot lifeless!”
It was a bloody Tuesday in Philadelphia with a five people succumbing to violence in span of 15 hours. The homicide rate is up more than 10 percent compared this time in 2015.
