Migos Delay ‘Yung Rich Nation’ Tour Due To Offset’s Incarceration and Legal Woes

Fans were anticipating Migos’ upcoming “Yung Rich Nation,” which was to span much of North America. But the Atlanta rap group has decided to postpone the tour due to Offset’s legal woes.

The group issued a statement regarding their decision.

“Due to circumstances beyond our control we are postponing this tour until July,” the statement read. “We want to be at our best and make sure that we give 100% during the Yung Rich Nation tour. We would also like to say ‘Thank You’ to all of our fans for their love and support.”

Though the tour is postponed, Migos are sticking with the June 16 release date for the debut album “YRN Tha Album.”

Offset of Migos won’t be getting out of jail any time soon due to his felon status. Offset, born Kiari Cephus, was denied bond, according to the Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office. Offset’s band members Quavo and TakeOff, however, have bond set at $10,000.

Migos were arrested during their Georgia Southern University concert Saturday night for possession of drugs and guns, according to Rolling Stone.

The group’s performance was cut short after police arrived on the scene. TMZ reports Quavo and Offset were arrested felony possession of cocaine, Oxycontin and codeine plus charges of carrying a loaded weapon in a school zone, according to TMZ.

The three members of the Migos were charged as follows:

Quavious Marshall (Quavo) (24 yoa, Lawrenceville Ga): Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana (misd), Possession of a Firearm in a School Safety Zone, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime

Kirschnick Ball (TakeOff) (20 yoa, Lawrenceville Ga): Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana (misd), Possession of a Firearm in a School Safety Zone, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime

Kiari Cephus (Offset) (23 yoa, Lawrenceville Ga): Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana (misd), Possession of a Firearm in a School Safety Zone, and Possession of a Firearm during the Commission of a Crime”
