Montana of 300 Honors Tupac On 20-Year Death Anniversary

Time has really flown. Tuesday, Sept. 13, marked the 20th death anniversary of one of the greatest emcee to grace the mic. Tupac Shakur died six days after he was shot riding in the passenger side of Suge Knight’s vehicle in Las Vegas.

Pac’s legacy has inspired many, including Montana of 300. Montana, who regards Pac as his first favorite rapper, took to IG to say he was thankful for listening to his music growing up. He also took the opportunity to tell his followers to watch the music they stream around their children:

“TUPAC SHAKUR: My 1st favorite rapper died 20 years ago. Im thankful I got to grow up listening to his music. Ppl of today…choose the music you play around your kids wisely, because it’s molding them and their future more than you know. What you allow and respect, they will as well. If nobody’s putting any knowledge in their music at all, then you might not wanna play all this clown s— that’s being played and allowed today, around your kids. IF YOU DON’T KNOW, GO LISTEN: ‘White Man’s World’ | ‘Lord Knows’ | ‘Keep Your Head Up’ | ‘Smile’ | ‘Thugs Mansion’ | ‘Dear Mama’ | ‘I Ain’t Mad Atcha’ | ‘Changes’ | ‘It Ain’t Easy’ | ‘Me Against The World’ | ‘Wonder Why They Call You B—-’ | ‘Brenda’s Got A Baby’”
