Montana of 300 Speaks On Lil Reese Asking Where He’s From

In late February, fans thought a potential beef was brewing after Lil Reese questioned Montana of 300 on where he was from on Twitter.

The “Supa Savage 2” rapper messaged Montana on Twitter, writing, “@MONTANAof300 we’re you from boy.”

Montana opened up on the incident during an interview with Hip Hops Revival.

“I haven’t spoke to him. I just seen him at [Chicago 107.5 WGCI Summer Jam],” Montana said. “…Tone is lost in text. It could’ve been taken anywhere to where he really wanna know where I’m from or aggressively he really wanna know where I’m from. Chicago n*ggas, we throw ‘boy’ around a lot. …I got a Twitter to promote my music. None of the extra sh*t. I don’t Twitter beef. I figure I’ma see him and when I see him If he wants to know where I’m from, then I’m sure he’ll ask me where I’m from if he wanna know that bad.

“I seen him at Summer Jam with Durk,” he continued. “He walked past me. He didn’t ask me sh*t, so I figure it’s not that beef that yall talking bout. …That sh*t’s not beef to me.”
