Mubu’s King Louie and Krump Slam Christopher Columbus Day

Christopher Christopher is often credited with discovering modern day America despite the fact millions of indigenous people were already living on the land.

Many countries, including the U.S., observe the second Monday of October in honor of the explorer’s voyage to the so-called “New World”.

But not everyone will celebrate the holiday.

Mubu’s King Louie and Krump are steadfastly against honoring a man whom they feel was a thief.

“F-ck Christopher Columbus,” Louie said. “It’s cool kids don’t got to go to school. At least they give em a day off off all that bullsh-t they feeding em.”

Krump added:

“When I was a shorty, I got on some Christopher Columbus ass sh-t. I found $5,000 in a n-gga pocket. I found a chain on his neck and they motherf-cking gave me eight years for finding that sh-t. That sh-t f-cked up.”

Elementary history books don’t reveal the truth about Columbus who was very much responsible for the enslavement, murder and rape of indigenous people.

Jay-Z refuted Columbus’ alleged accomplishments in 2013 during his “Ask Hov” session.

Twitter user @IgnantTone asked the “Magna Carter Holy Grail” rapper, “what was the inspiration behind ‘”Oceans”’ & ‘”Heaven”’?”

Jigga replied, “#factonly Columbus didn’t discover America.”

Lupe Fiasco took to Twitter in 2012 enlighten fans on the real Columbus.

“Happy Unforgivable Youth Day!!! Columbus, de Gama, and Zheng He! Crash Course: World History #21,” the rapper wrote on Twitter.

Lupe Fiasco, born Wasalu Muhammad Jaco, ponders his “existence” in a country without the influence of Columbus.

“Begs to be asked…If it were not for Columbus would I even exist?” the “Kick Push” artist asked on Twitter. “And if I would have would it be a better or worse existence than today?”

Lupe attributes poverty to Columbus.

“The Columbian exchange has left us not a richer but a more impoverished genetic pool,” he wrote.

“We, ALL of the life on this planet, are the LESS for Columbus, and the impoverishment will increase.’ -A. Crosby Jr.,” he wrote.
