Nas Says Backpack Rap Is Not Hip Hop In ‘What What’ Documentary

Nas has a dislike for backpackers entering the art of Hip Hop. He and associate Jungle spoke on the issue in the upcoming “What What” documentary.

“I thought rap came from two ni**as on the street thugging, rhyming,” Jungle said. “I ain’t know college ni**as was turning into f*cking rappers and sh*t.”

Nas co-signed Jungle, saying, “No backpacks, no backpacks ever. That’s not Hip Hop yo. That sh*t is not Hip Hop. Hip Hop is the sh*t my ni**a Will used to listen to with the big ass radio walking through the street.”

Rapper N.O.R.E is set to release never-before-seen footage during the golden age of Hip Hop in the 1990s in the “What What” documentary.

N.O.R.E. took a camera and captured footage of interviews and performances from one of the biggest names in Hip Hop, including Snoop Dog, Nas, 50 Cent, P. Diddy and Juelz Santana.
