P. Rico Gets Updated Mugshot In State Prison Transfer, Dreads Cut

P. Rico has been transferred to another state prison. Rico, whose real name is Maurice Johnson, is now an inmate at Pontiac Medium Security, according to Illinois Department of Corrections website.

Rico was originally at Statesville Correction Center.

Rico was given a new mugshot where he is seen with his signature dreadlocks cut.

Rico’s projected discharge date is Jan. 27, 2019. The Chi Town rapper can possibly be paroled on Jan. 27, 2017 if he can stay trouble-free during his stay.

Rico’s Bricksquad rap counterpart Lil Mister called for his freedom via IG.

P. Rico was prepping the release of his “The Rico Act” project before his incarceration.

Earlier this year, P. Rico issued a statement to his fans in a recorded phone call.

“I’m in this b***h, man,” he said. “Can’t wait to get out. I’m keeping my head up, can’t wait to get out. I’m finna take off when I get out.”

In December 2015, Rico requested his fans write him when he was in Cook County.

His current mailing address is unknown at the moment. We’ll update this info as it becomes available.
