S. Dot aka Dotarachi Talks Violence and Growing Up On Steve Drive In South Side Chiraq



S. Dot aka Dotarachi is emerging as one of the front-runners of the Chiraq Hip Hop movement. S. Dot presents to the game a unique style with vivid tales of authentic street life. Zack TV caught up with the “64 Barz” rapper to learn more about his upbringing in one of the country’s most dangerous and impoverished neighborhoods.



“I’m from South Side, Englewood… Steve Drive,” he said. “It’s f-cked up. We lost like 10 shorties. My little homie nem youngins. I’m young and sh-t. My homie nem like 15, 16, you know? I lost a lot of hood n-ggas due to that street sh-t. A lot of violence going on and sh-t. I be trying to do that music sh-t to keep my mind from off that sh-t. I ain’t got time. I don’t wanna lose no more n-ggas.”

Dot release his five-star mixtape “Call Me Dotarachi” in late September via Live Mixtapes. Expect S. Dot to T up on new music in 2015.
