Shawty Lo is set to be laid to rest today (Saturday, Oct. 1). Shawty Lo’s close friends decided to turn up with him one last time before his homegoing service yesterday. His body was taken to Blue Flame Lounge, a popular Atlanta strip club, following his wake.
A person posted footage of a hearse carrying Shawty Lo’s body outside the gentleman’s club.
“Shawty Lo’s last time at the Blue Flame,” he said.
Shawty Lo was enjoying himself at the Blue Flame prior to having his life claimed in a car accident on Sept. 21.
Shawty Lo has, whose real name is Carlos Walker, died after he was ejected from his vehicle during a fiery single-car accident on I-285 in south Fulton County. He was 40 years old.
Shawty Lo’s white Audi reportedly went over a guardrail, hit two trees and burst into flames. Two passengers in the vehicle were taken to a local hospital with injuries.
Shawty Lo’s funeral will be held at noon today (Oct. 1) at Jackson Memorial Baptist Church in Atlanta.
