The parents of a teen are planning to file a $16 million lawsuit against a Brooklyn junior high school after their son was left blind in his right eye after he was beaten in a brutal attack in the school’s cafeteria.

A student has become a victim of a possible hate crime at Williams College. Samuel Flinn, who is gay, found word “f*g” carved into his door.

Ohio State University Police issued a hate-crime alert after someone spray-painted “Long Live Zimmerman” on a building on campus, according the university’s student newspaper The Lantern. A second crime occurred off campus where a mural of President Barack Obama was vandalized.

An Iraqi woman was found severely beaten in an apparent hate crime inside her home. Shaima Alawadi was found unconscious Wednesday by her 17-year-old daughter and taken to hospital where she was placed on life support. She died Saturday afternoon after being taken off life support.
