The memory of Josh has not faded in the hearts and minds of the people who cared about him most. Close friends and family took to social media Thursday, Dec. 25 to honor JayLoud.

Davis’ short life was taken away after he was tragically murdered on Christmas for wearing a sweatshirt honoring fallen friend Lil’ JoJo.

Joshua “JayLoud” Davis had a passion for music.

Before his untimely demise, JayLoud, 18, was to move to New Orleans in two weeks to pursue his music career, his sister Selina Davis told Fox 32.

It was only a few months ago when Joshua “JayLoud” Davis attended the funeral of best friend Lil’ JoJo. Lil’ JoJo, born Joseph Coleman, was an aspiring rapper who was tragically murdered in a drive-by shooting as he was riding on the back pegs of a friend’s bike.

Aspiring 18-year-old Chicago rapper JayLoud, born Joshua Davis, was murdered on Christmas Day for allegedly wearing a picture of his best friend Lil’ JoJo on a sweatshirt.
