The New Orleans Hip Hop community is reeling from the loss of one its sons Mr. Magic. Mr. Magic, born Awood Johnson, and wife Chastity succumbed to injuries in a car accident on Friday, March 1 in Hattiesburg, Miss. The couple’s daughter Twila Wise Johnson was the lone survivor.

The Hip Hop community is mourning the loss of New Orleans rapper Mr. Magic. The rapper, who hails from the 9th ward of New Orleans, and his wife died in a car accident Wednesday night in Mississippi. His daughter survived the wreckage.
