Team600’s RioGotMeRolling is making a name for himself in Chicago’s growing entertainment industry not through music but comedy. Rio has appeared in Chicago-based web series “The Reawakening” and started his own series “The Weekend.”
Rio’s comedic brand started as an adolescent in elementary school.
“I was always a class clown grammar school to high school; graduated my senior class “Class Clown,” Rio told Zack TV.
Rio explained the three types of funny in entertainment.
“You got ‘corny funny,’ you got ‘gay funny’ and then you got ‘that n-gga funny a-- hell,’” Rio explained. “I’m that n-gga ‘funny a-- hell.’ You can go through all my Instagram videos, I ain’t putting on no wigs, that sh-t gay a-- hell. For the n-ggas that do it, that sh-t gay a-- hell. All I can do is keep it real. That sh-t gay. You take that wig off and you still sound like you got that wig on, that sh-t gay. I ain’t f-cking with it.”
Fellow social media comedian star DCYoungFly also addressed guys in wigs in media. What are your thoughts on “Drag Comedy?” Sound off below.
