The “Put The Guns Down” movement is picking up steam in the City. “We here doing this tryna save the peace, stop the killing. We got to stop the killing,” Seamore said. “We want to save the brothers. Put a belt on, go to school, respect your mother and father. Minister Seamore out here with Chief Keef. We tryna put the guns down, stop the killing.”

Sosa agreed the killings in Chicago must end.

“Chicaglo… we wanna stop the killing, we wanna start the peace, all of the sh*t,” Sosa said.

Sosa called for persons to obtain their firearms legally.

“…Get you a gun license,” Sosa continued. “Don’t catch no cases. Get you a gun license and tote your guns. If you ain’t got one, don’t do it. Go to school. Don’t kill for no reason.”

Tadoe expanded on Sosa’s comments telling all to exercise their constitutional right by using their weapons only when threatened.

“Put the guns down, but keep it on you, man,” he said. “No lacking cause it’s cracking. You can’t get caught lacking while it’s cracking out here. Put the guns down.”
