Prolific musician will.iam is stepping outside of his comfort zone to bring the viewer an “innovative” reality show competition.



The music producer, who has worked with a variety of artists during his lengthy career, believes reality television shows geared towards to singers are slowly losing its allure. The Los Angeles native hopes to create a show that focuses on technology and science overachievers, according to CBS.

Will.i.am reportedly appeared at Amsterdam’s IBC technology conference to discuss his show idea for inventors.

“Every year, companies like Google need more innovators, but there is no content celebrating them,” he said. “The system thinks people are dumb and they don’t care. We have no desire to make them care. We need creative people working with broadcasters, making smart content to inspire people to be geniuses.
