Bobby Shmurda’s GS9 Associate Sentenced To 98 Years In Prison For Murder



A man with connections to Bobby Shmurda’s GS9 camp was sentenced today to 98 years in prison, according to the New York Daily News.

Rashid Derissant, 24, was sentenced on gang-related charges, including conspiracy, murder, attempted murder and assault.

Derissant is accused of shooting four people in a Brooklyn bodega in February 2013, one of which was fatal. The deceased victim was a 19-year-old rival gang member.

In July 2014, he shot a 22-year-old innocent bystander in the neck and hip.

Bobby Shmurda will learn his fate after his trial on conspiracy, gun and drug charges commences on Sept. 12.

Shmurda and seven of his GS9 guys were arrested December 2014 following a long-term NYPD investigation.

Bobby is currently at Westchester County Correction facility.
