A Yale University graduate died Saturday afternoon in a car crash, the Yale Daily News reports.
Marina Keegan, 22, died after her car overturned on Route 6 in Dennis, Mass. Keegan was pronounced dead after the vehicle smashed into a guardrailed and rolled over twice, according to The Boston Globe.
Michael Gocksch, Keegan’s boyfriend, was in the car during the crash and is currently listed in stable condition at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis.
Keegan was involved on campus and served as president of the Yale College Democrats, the Yale Daily News reports.
Keegan planned to start her career as a writer for The New Yorker.
Kevin Keegan, Marina’s father, told The New York Daily News, “she was a fantastic writer, just a wonderful human being who touched the lives of everyone she met.”
