The Cabrini Greens are known as one of the most notorious housing projects not only in Chicago, but also the entire nation. Though the Cabrini-Green high-rise buildings were demolished, the original Frances Cabrini Homes row houses remain.

YK proclaims his hood was featured on Gangland in his new single. YK’s Blindfolks-directed music video features clips of the documentary.
YK raps, “My money stacking high, I ain’t gotta talk/My hood Gangland, they ain’t gotta talk/I’m driving foreigns, I ain’t gotta walk/I f**k when I want, so I ain’t gotta stalk.”
