Young Chop Shares Do’s and Don’ts For Artists At SXSW

The 2015 SXSW music festival is in the books. The event may be a lot to take in for artists. Young Chop sat down with DJ Smallz Eyes to offer advice for first-timers.

“Go out there humble a-- hell,” he said. “Go on Sixth street, chill with your fans. …Cause that’s what I do. I ain’t no hiding a-- n-gga… celebrity a-- n-gga. When I go out there we on Sixth street. No security. None of that. We out there. We taking pictures, we walking down the street. Don’t go out there stuck up. Just be yourself. It’s really a big a-- networking service.”

A few Chicago artists were present at the event, including Lil Durk, Montana of 300 and DLow. Twista tapped the artists to perform in the MWSXSW showcase.
