Young Chop sat down with Forbez DVD to discuss Chief Keef’s current predicament with Interscope Records. Chop is questioning the label’s decision to drop him despite the Glo Gang frontman’s successes.

“…His album sold what his requirements was supposed to be, so how did they drop him? …It sold 200,000,” Chop said. “He recouped, so I don’t know what the f-ck going on over there. His singles did good. Every single he put out did good…. and topped charts.”



Chop said Sosa and Interscope have long been at odds during an interview with VladTV.

“…He [Chief Keef] don’t be listening to they ass,” he said. “You can’t make him do what he don’t wanna do. You can’t make him do a video that he don’t feel comfortable with the song. He wanna do a video that he feel comfortable to.



Chop told Forbez he doesn’t understand why there is so much hate for Sosa.

“They put so much sh-t on him,” he said. “I be watching the news. He just come on the news, I’m like ‘what the f-ck?’ He ain’t even that type of person. Yall don’t even know him.

“…He is the smartest motherf*cker in the world,” he continued. “N*ggas really wanna get down to it. He is the smartest little boy in the world.”
