Police Sergeant Posts Bullet-Riddled Obama Shirt on Facebook

A police sergeant has been demoted and suspended for posting a controversial image on the Internet, officials said.

The photo, in question, that has received so much flack was a bullet-riddled image of President Obama with seven teenagers holding guns. It has caused so much controversy that the secret service has gotten involved.

Pat Shearer, the police sergeant under fire, took the picture.

“We expect our employees to exercise sound judgment and not bring discredit upon our police department,” Police Chief Roy Minter said in a written statement.

Shearer told ABC15 in Phoenix he considered the photo a “political statement” and did not think it was big deal.

“In The President’s Secret Service” states President Obama received about 30 death threats a day.
