Young Thug wasn’t joking when he said his next project would be titled “Carter VI.” Thugga took IG early Wednesday to reveal the project’s cover art and release date.
Thug is shown shirtless behind a red backdrop that mimics the sun.
“#c6otw 4/17,” the caption on the post read.
Lil Wayne hasn’t commented on Thug’s actions, but his daughter Reginae Carter made it known she was opposed to the ATL rapper’s project.
Young Thug revealed his Weezy-inspired title during an interview with DJ Whoo Kid.
“I just feel like I’m that big,” he said. Cause [Wayne] said after ‘Tha Carter V’ he won’t make no more music cause he said can’t nobody make no music like that.
