Two RNC Attendees Throw Nuts at a Black Camerawoman and Call Her an ‘Animal’

2012 Republican National Convention Delayed By Tropical Storm Isaac

Two attendees at the Republican National Convention were kicked after exhibiting acts of racism toward an African-American CNN camerawoman, CNN reports.

The suspects threw nuts at the CNN camerawoman and said, “This is how we feed animals,” according to CNN.

Police and security removed the two people from the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

RNC released a statement saying, “Two attendees tonight exhibited deplorable behavior. Their conduct was inexcusable and unacceptable. This kind of behavior will not be tolerated.”

CNN released their own statement saying, “CNN can confirm there was an incident directed at an employee inside the Tampa Bay Times Forum earlier this afternoon. CNN worked with convention officials to address this matter and will have no further comment.”
