Aretha Franklin, The Queen Soul, recently discussed male R&B artists she would to work with.
The artists the “Respect” artist named were Ne-Yo, Usher and Chris Brown, according to Hello Beautiful.
“I love Ne-Yo,” she said. “I think he is so talented. I would love to work with him. If only he were a little older!”
Usher is an artist she also likes “a lot.”
Franklin said Brown is good and she wouldn’t mind working with him.
“It’s a shame that he’s such a talented boy who is troubled,” she said.
Do you think this was slight diss on Franklin’s part? Sound off below.
