Birdman turned social media upside down after his outburst on Power 105’s The Breakfast Club. The Cashmoney mogul has since been subjected to countless memes. Birdman opened up on the reasoning behind his outburst during an interview with Hot 97:
“I’m just sick of these p***y n****s playing with my name, man. Put some respect on my motherf*****g name and don’t put in your mouth. I’m tired of talking, ain’t no more talking. You got another n***a that may have an opinion, say their opinion and you ain’t gon hear that sh*t. Even with Ross and Trick, they had their opinion. They said that sh*t one time, but this n***a on the radio station, he been playing with me for three, four years. Constantly playing with my name. Find you somebody to play with. I ain’t tryna discredit that man. He a black man making money, feeding his family. I ain’t tryna get points off him or nothing. He a radio n***a, he ain’t bout that. I get that and I ain’t come about that. I’m just asking you like a man. I don’t know if you think I’m sweet or something or got me f****d up. Just keep my name out your mouth with the bullsh*t. …I don’t even know this man. I never met him in my life.”
