Chief Keef recorded a touching tribute to his slain cousin Big Glo who was murdered April 9, 2014. Sosa dropped some heartfelt rhymes on top of an alternative pop production. Sosa’s eyes have seen a lot, which is why it’s hard for him to show any type of emotion. The only time we have seen Keef’s human side is when he’s interacting with his children. Sosa also showed he is not afraid to show a softer side of his artistry when thinking about Blood Money.
In this record, Sosa raps, “Why I go hard, Blood be the reason/Wouldn’t want me to quit even if I was bleedin/Gotta take charge, every four seasons/Every month, everyday and every weekend.”
As much as Sosa tells friends he’s not thinking about Big Glo, he lets his cousin know in this song’s conclusion that he is indeed missing him like crazy.
This record definitely shows Sosa’s depth as an artist. We definitely can’t wait to see what else he has in store for us.
