Famous Dex is undeniably Hip Hop’s top emerging artist in 2016. After releasing “Drip From My Walk,” Dex’s name is now in a lot of folks’ mouths.

Dex believes he deserves a spot on XXL’s Freshman cover.

Famous Dex and Rich Forever boss Rich The Kid offered thoughts on the coveted list during an interview with Hot 97.

Rich The Kid said he’s never been selected for a Freshman spot, but says he’s no stranger to being on the mag’s cover.

“If you go to the XXL in Walgreens, they got me on there,” he said. “I be in XXL all the time. If I’m on the cover, I’m on the cover. I wake up on it. We still grinding. We doing whatever.”

Rich The Kid went on to reveal who he believes should be on the cover.

“Dex supposed to be on there. I’m supposed to be on there. Uzi supposed to be on there, [Playboi Carti],” he said. “If them four, five people not on there… [Lil Yachty]. If we not on there, who you gon put on there? It’s not gonna be real.”

Famous Dex said abovementioned know how to crank out hit songs.

“Who you know consistently dropping heat back to back,” Dex said.” That’s like an All-Star team like motherf*****g Larry Bird, Michael. It’s so powerful like Rich, Yachty, Uzi, Dex and Carti.”
