El Pirata De Culiacan, a popular Mexican YouTuber, was fatally shot after dissing cartel boss El Mencho. He was only 17.

In the weeks leading up to his death, El Pirata, whose real name is Juan Luis Lagunas Rosales, allegedly made fun of the Jalisco Cartel Nueva Generacion leader, El Mencho aka Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes,that was later posted online.
El Pirata was caught lacking after attending an event in the municipality of Tlajomulco in Jalisco at a bar named Menta2 Cantaros.
Four members of the Cartel pulled up on El Pirata outside a bar in Zapopan, Jalisco, Mexico, and shot him 15 times.
They were reportedly armed with “long guns.”
A woman who was drinking with him was also reportedly shot. She was treated at a private hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
An image of El Pirata’s body riddled with bullets surfaced on the net.
