King Yella Honors ‘Grandma’ In Music Video



King Yella dedicates his latest single to his Big Mama. His single titled “Grandma” pays homage to Dorothy “Suga” Sanders. Yella reveals the passing of Miss Sanders pushed him to go harder.

He raps, “I remember when I was just a youngin/My grandma said ‘Boy, you better make some money. Steady sitting on yo ass, yo gon get nothing’/I know one thing, my grandmother kept it one hundred.”

Loko Visions Films was on the visual production helm of Yella’s music video. This single comes as Yella preps the releases of his forthcoming mixtape “Someone Special,” which is slated to drop Feb. 14.
