There is no beef between Kodak Black and Lil Wayne. Kodak has been throwing shots at Weezy since late 2016. Many may remember Kodak challenging Weezy to a fight earlier this year. But Kodak and Wayne are going to leave the past in the past.
Kodak previewed a new record with Wayne during a recent show.
Kodak revealed why he disrespected Wayne during an IG Live session in September.
“I f**k with Wayne. That blowing up fast made me write my first rap,” Kodak said. “A n*gaa tried to smurf a n*gga, like, like, like, he don’t know who I am and sh*t so one day I over went – took that Patron and Grey Goose – I wasn’t finna wake up in the morning and say, ‘Oh, I’m sorry. That was a mistake. I was toast.’”
Kodak was possibly upset with Wayne saying he never heard of him.
Weezy was asked his thoughts on XXL Freshman 2016 rappers 21 Savage, Lil Yachty, Lil Uzi Vert and Kodak Black during an interview with The New York Times.
“I swear to God I didn’t know you were saying people’s name just now, so that should probably answer that question,” Tunechi said. “I just do my own thing.”
Weezy spoke with NYT about his new memoir “Gone ‘Til November,” which details his 8-month prison stint for gun charges on Rikers Island in 2010.
Kodak also told Lil Wayne to eat his booty.
“Lil Wayne can eat my a–,” he said.
Kodak took to Twitter in December 2016 to proclaim he is better than Lil Wayne.
Kodak wrote, “Lil Wayne Ain’t The Best F*****g Rapper Alive … IAM.”
