Authorities are not confirming whether Dorner’s body was found in a cabin after shootout occurred earlier today.

Authorities followed a man believed to be Dorner to a cabin, according to The L.A. Times.

Authorities told The L.A. Times police had “broken down windows, pumped in tear gas and blasted a loud speaker urging Dorner to surrender.” The cabin later became engulfed in flames. The Times reported a single bullet shot may have set the cabin on fire.

But audio from a new clip tells a different story.

Audio released reveals officers intentionally burned down the cabin. Someone can be heard using excessive profanity and saying, “Get the gas, burn it down.”

Fire quickly engulfed the neighboring cabins. LAPD officers are retracting a statement saying Dorner’s body has been recovered.
