Lil Durk says he opted for a different strategy with his sophomore album “Lil Durk 2X.” Durk told HipHopDX during an interview he went back to his roots with this project.

“The last album, I followed everybody else, did what they wanted to do and put it together how they did it,” said Lil Durk. “But this album, I did me. I had fun with it. It’s way different, you going to tell the difference if you hear it.”

Durk’s 13-track project features guest appearances from Future, Young Thug, Ty Dolla $ign, Yo Gotti and Dej Loaf. Durk’s project is available for purchase on iTunes.
