Meek Mill Facing Wrongful Death Lawsuit

Meek Mill is busy trying to prevent Ls in his career, but drama continues to follow him. The “Wins and Losses” rapper is facing a wrongful death lawsuit after two people were killed during one of his past performances.

Meek Mill is accused of using his lyrics to incite violence during a December 2016 concert performance outside Oakdale Theatre in Wallingford, CT. Live Nation, which operates Oakdale Theatre, is also being sued.

Joel Faxon, who represents one of the families of the victims, told TMZ he’s confident “the families of those shot at the concert agree Mr. Mill meets the definition of a thug.”

Meek Mill denied any violence occurred at the time of the incident.

“Yeah, they really tryna slow these bags up,” Meek said. “I’m looking at this s**t, talking two people died, two people got shot. A lie. Somebody hating tryna slow these bags up cause we scooping up 250s.”

Lt. Cheryl Bradley said the shooting occurred after the Oakdale was closing.

Meek Mill dissed Drake during his concert.

Meek stopped mid-performance after noticing a scent of marijuana in the air.

“Where that s**t at in the building? I’m on probation, but I can smell it,” Meek said. “Put that s**t in the air, n***a.”

A fan offered Meek his joint, but the rapper declined, throwing some shade at Drake in the process.

“I’m on probation, I can’t hit that,” Meek said. “You work for Drake? You tryna send me to jail?”
