Meek Mill was involved in this era’s biggest rap battle with Drake. The Philly rapper was asked his thoughts on Drake’s “Back To Back” record during a ride-along interview with Tax Stone.

“I ain’t think it was no sh*t that people was gonna be like, ‘you got killed.’ I thought it was hot,” says Meek. “Like when we shoot at n*ggas, you gotta shoot a n*gga through the heart. When you wake up in the mirror, you looking in the mirror, you hearing what the n*gga told you, some sh*t about yourself that you can’t even deal with. That’s how we battle where we come from.”

Meek Mill says Drizzy’s diss track didn’t hit like Jay Z and Nas’s legendary battle records.

“But when Nas and Jay Z battled and n*ggas was hittin’ at each other…they tryin’ to hit you in your head,” he said.

The interview cuts off just as Tax Stone asks Meek Mill why he didn’t respond quickly to the track.

Meek Mill recently dropped his much-anticipated project “DC4.” The project features 14 tracks with guest appearances from Tory Lanez, Lil Uzi Vert, Nicki Minaj, Quavo (Migos), Don Q, Young Thug, 21 Savage, YFN Lucci, Lil Snupe, French Montana and more. The project is available for purchase on iTunes.
