S.Dot’s 485 camp is donating bottles of water to the people of Flint, MI. The Chi Town rap crew filled up two trucks with 800 cases of water.

“Pray for Flint water crisis,” 485Fredro said. “If we don’t take care of our people, who is.”

News of Flint’s water crisis flooded social media after it was discovered it water source contained high amounts of lead.

Flint is only 70 miles from the Great Lakes, but a budget crisis led government officials to switch the city’s water supply from Lake Huron to the Flint River.

The highly corrosive river was discovered to contain iron, which gave it a brown color. This was due to the state Department of Environmental Quality failing to treat the river water with an anti-corrosive agent, a violation of federal law. The agent would’ve cost $100 a day. Children tested positive for high levels of lead in their blood.
