UndergroundTunnel.Tv recently caught up with Skullgang rapper Hynief to discuss his recent encounter with Rev. Run’s son Jo Jo Simmons.
“At the same time, I don’t want people to get the jojo shit twisted. I did that because it’s the principals. Its just the principals behind the facts like you run your mouth, you call niggas out their name and then you out here running around in these streets with niggas thats active and you know, I caught you nigga and you know I aint even… I ain’t even take advantage of you like I aint punch you or nothing you know what I’m saying,” said Hynief.
Hynief then explains how he spared Jo Jo Simmons’s life by just roughing him up a little bit.
“You know what I’m saying so like basically nigga I roughed the lil nigga up a lil bit you know what I’m saying like stop running your mouth. If you not bout that life my g don’t be out here running your mouth my nigga like you know what I’m saying. I could have took advantage of him but I didn’t you know what I’m saying, I let him live,” said Hynief.
Hynief also responds to critics questioning his reasoning for jacking up a preacher’s kid.
I see a lot of comments from people talking like oh its jojo like I don’t give a fuck who you is man. It don’t matter who son you is, who nephew, who related to you, how much money you got, who can blackball you like I don’t give a fuck about none of that shit my nigga it don’t matter. If you old enough to run your fucking mouth, you old enough to get touched my nigga. simple and plain my nigga. fact regardless my nigga. That’s what it is.

JoJo Simmons also appeared in an interview with Crave TV to discuss his encounter with Skullgang member Hynief a day after photos surfaces online showing the “Ride Like My Car” getting roughed up.
“I ain’t got no comments towards it. I’m not really into the violence,” he said. “I’m not really inot the thug life. I’m not gonna talk no sh*t. I grew up a very good kid. All I’ve been around was money all my life. I ain’t been around that thug shit or that gun shit, so that’s not what I do. What I do is I count money and I f*ck bitches. I travel the world. That’s all I do. I’m not on that violence shit at the end of the day.”
Hynief caught Simmons slipping in Queens and confronted him for dissing Juelz Santana in song “Holy Water.”
The “Man Down” rapper posted photos of himself hemming up a frightened Simmons.
World Star Hip Hop alleges Hynief made Simmons call Santana to apologize.
Hynief took to Twitter to discuss the encounter.
“Guess who I caught y’all Lil punk ass Jo Jo that made the diss track look at his face when he ace! #facts shouldn’t pop shit if u not bout that life real niggas don’t care who u related too fuck nigga,” said rapper Hynief.
