The lawsuit filed by two Howard University students against Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. is heating up.

It was learned recently the mothers of Howard University students Lauren Cofield and Laurin Compton have been stripped of their Alpha Kappa Alpha membership.

The Black Greek Letter community was rocked by recent news that the nation’s oldest African American sorority was being sued for violation of human rights and allegations of hazing.
