A peaceful protest in Ferguson turned into a night of mayhem Sunday after police bombed demonstrators with tear gas. Police fired tear gas as protesters marched towards their command center.

But the atmosphere soon turned chaotic upon the arrival of riot gear-clad officers who fired tear gas at protesters assembled in the street.
