A social collegiate fraternity has been shut down at Ohio State University for a series of infractions that spanned several years at the university.

Last week, Ohio State University Police issued a hate crime alert to university students after vandalism was sighted on a university building. The graffiti on the building read “Long Live Zimmerman.” Not long after, vandalism was reported at a Barrack Obama Mural off-campus, which featured swastika symbols and read “Niggers!”

This year has seen the Buckeyes’ highly regarded program turned upside down amid NCAA violations, suspensions and a 6-6 record, not to mention a tough 40-34 loss to conference rivals University of Michigan Wolverines Saturday afternoon.
