Students from Atlanta’s Historically Black Colleges and Universities rallied in honor of Trayvon Martin at the Georgia State Capitol Monday. More than 3,000 people were in attendance to protest the death of an unarmed 17-year-old boy who was walking back to his father’s fiancé’s home from picking up snacks.

Authorities have released the 911 calls in the Trayvon Martin fatal shooting case. Trayvon Martin, a 17-year-old African American Teen, was walking to his father’s home from a nearby 7-eleven when he was attacked by George Zimmerman, who deemed him “suspicious.”
