Howard University Law School Offers Legal Assistance to Trayvon Martin’s Family

Now, Howard University Law School is jumping into the ring in the fight for justice the teen who aspired to be an aviation mechanic, NBC4 reports. Howard University Dean Kurt Schmoke, who was the former mayor of Baltimore, is offering legal assistant to the Martin family.

“We wanted to offer condolences, first of all, to the family and then our offer of assistance to the lawyers,” Kurt Schmoke, the dean of Howard University, said. “We can help with not only investigation, but more importantly, looking at the law.

The death of Martin, who had only a bag of skittles and an Arizona iced tea at the time of his death, has sparked a huge outcry across the nation. Many have argues racism in the case
