The 17-year-old suspect behind the shooting spree at Chardon High School that left three students dead and two other students injured is scheduled to appear in court today.

Students returned class Friday only several days after deadly school shooting left three dead, two others injured and community devastated. This also comes a day after Thomas T.J. Lane appeared in court Thursday facing three counts of aggravated murder and one felony count of assault.

Thomas “TJ” Lane, a 17-year-old boy accused of killing three students and injuring two others Monday morning at an Ohio high school, was charged with three counts of aggravated murder on Thursday.

The shooting at Chardon High School in Chardon, OH may not have been a random shooting. Thomas “TJ” Lane, the alleged shooter in the tragic shooting spree that left three students dead, may have knew his victims.

Nickolas Walczak, one of the five students shot Monday morning at Chardon High School, is currently paralyzed from the waist down. He remains hospitalized at Hillcrest Hospital.

A third student shot in an attack at Chardon High School Monday morning died today at Metro Health Medical Center in Cleveland, OH. Demetrius Hewlin, a junior, succumbed to gunshot wounds inflicted during a shooting in the school’s cafeteria. He was 17 years old.
