Tay-K Found Guilty Of Murder, Faces 5 To 99 Years Or Life In Prison

Tay-K lost the race.

Tay-K, whose real name is Taymor McIntyre, was found guilty of murder Friday. He was accused of taking part in a deadly home invasion robbery that left 21-year-old Ethan Walker dead, and Zachary Beloate wounded.

He pleaded not guilty to capital murder in the Walker’s death, and to another count of aggravated robbery related to the shooting Beloate.

Tay-K, 19, was also found guilty of aggravated robbery in connection with the robbery and shooting of Beloate, who was wounded but survived.

The “Megaman” rapper pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of aggravated robbery related to two other victims inside the house.

It took the jury just four hours over a two-day period to return with their verdict. Fortunately for Tay-K, he was not convicted of capital murder, which carries a life sentence with the chance of parole after 40 years.

Tay-K must now await sentencing for the murder conviction and three aggravated robbery convictions. He faces five to 99 years or life in prison on each.
