XXXTentacion’s father, Dwayne Onfroy, is currently mourning the loss of the rock/rap star. The elder Onfroy took to social media to issue a message on X’s death.
“Good day, my name is Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy. My son is Jahseh Dwayne Ricardo Onfroy, born January 23, 1998,” he said. “Left this earth physically June 18, 2018 at 20 year old. I will mourn my child from Monday to Monday, seven days. And after seven days, I will forever celebrate my child’s life, all he accomplished, everyone and everything that he touched. I thank you all for your prayers and well-wishes.”
A Florida man was arrested in the shooting death of XXXTentacion Wednesday night, the Broward Sheriff’s Office announced Thursday morning.
X’s mother told family and friends she’d police notified her of the charges during a vigil Wednesday night.
Dedrick Devonshay Williams, 22, of Pompano Beach, FL, was arrested on charges, including first-degree murder, grand theft of a motor vehicle and operating a vehicle without a valid driver’s license.
Williams has previous arrests for c—— possession, weapons possession, domestic violence and aggravated assault with a firearm.
TMZ reports there are two other suspects on the loose.
