Footage surfaced online showing the robbery of Bay Area rapper Messy Marv.

Robbers brutally assaulted the 37-year-old rapper Aug. 31 upon gaining entry into his motel room in Reno, NV.

The suspects took Marv’s cell phone and later posted images of the assault to the “He’s A Gangsta” rapper social media accounts.



Marv commented on the incident in a series of tweets:

“i jus bounced out the hospital on my way to KC



“like 5 niggas knock on my room door wit a long shot doe like in bananza lol



“niggas like i was smoking my nigga if i was gettn high i wouldnt uh answerd da doe its good doe shit get ugly sometime



“aye look niggas jumpd a nigga i dun did it b4 its good i aint mad



“5 reno niggas wit a long ass gun smoke revolver lol im alive and well my nigga



“real nigga.



“NO SECURITY



“i gotta laugh at this fake ass shit doe the tour still poppn a nigga preciate ya support



“niggas jumpd the kid and im back like I left the bitch!” he wrote.
