Lil Durk Upset With Spike Lee’s Use Of Satire In ‘Chi-Raq’

Lil Durk was so upset with the Spike Lee’s “Chi-Raq” he doesn’t even want to talk to the famed director.

Durk opened up on his feelings on the “Chi-Raq” film during his sit-down interview with Hot 97’s Ebro In The Morning crew.

“If you name it ‘Chi-Raq,’ you think it’s gonna be ‘The Wire,’ they going crazy in Chicago, they finna show the gun violence,” Durk explained. “But you look at it, it’s some sweet a– sh*t. For one, they doing colors. We don’t even do colors in Chicago. That’s like a LA thing. Then they rhyming the whole movie. And the whole thing is like a joke. And then to stop the violence, they talking about having sex. Nick Cannon and the girl, whoever c– first…”

Durk went on to say Spike Lee’s use of satire wasn’t the right move because what’s going on in Chicago is very serious.

“People dying everyday for this,” Durk said. “Ain’t nothing to brag on, but it’s the truth. People dying everyday in Chicago from kids to old folk.”
